January 22, 2023 at 3pm: Free Screening of The Letter! Our parish Care for Creation Study Group is happy to announce that this Sunday, January 22, we will be holding a community screening of The Letter, a film based on Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato Si, On Care for Our Common Home. It features Pope Francis as the protagonist and five leaders representing the voices of Indigenous people, the youth, the poor and the wildlife of our planet. The film is a product of the worldwide Laudato Si movement that seeks to educate us about the threats to all lifeforms that result from harmful human activity. Pope Francis' Letter is addressed to all human beings. The screening will take place at the Hollywood Theatre, 1449 Potomac Ave., Dormont. It is free. Invite friends and family for this inspiring film. It is recommended for children 13 years of age and older.
