MARY’S PRAYER GROUP & Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Did you know that St. Teresa of Kolkata was deeply devoted to the Blessed Mother? Her habit with the blue stripes was chosen because of this devotion to Mary. St. Teresa of Kolkata is a model for our parish to follow.
We will be starting a monthly prayer group to devote ourselves in deeper prayer and entrust ourselves to Mary’s heart. Part of our prayer devotion will include using a prayer of consecration to consecrate ourselves to Mary’s immaculate Heart. We know that the heart of Mary and Jesus’ Sacred heart are so intertwined. It was out of the Loving heart of Mary that she said “Yes” to allowing her body to be the vessel that the beating heart of Jesus would be formed and felt, even in her womb.
Our meetings will take place once a month on the 2nd Saturday of the Month beginning with August 8 at 3PM in St. Catherine Church Hall. The prayer meeting should last about 50 minutes (Option to attend the 4PM Mass after meeting)
