Shepherd’s Heart Fellowship serves those who are poor, vulnerable, and homeless. The Drop-in Center provides breakfast and helps connect those in need with those who can help. Their Resource Center can provide clothing, blankets, toiletries, etc. Free lunches and dinners are provided every day, transportation services to appointments and errands are available on shuttle buses; bus passes and gift cards for clothing can be provided to individuals and families in crisis; and House of Hope veteran’s home houses and provides counseling services for formerly homeless men. A Worship Service and community meal are held every Sunday at 5:15p.m.
Saint Teresa of Kolkata Parish collects food, clothing items, etc. for Shepherd’s Heart and our volunteers take those donations to Shepherd’s Heart monthly. Lunches are packed monthly also, after which the Shepherds Heart Knit/Crochet group often meets to create items for our friends at the Center.
